BGS started with a simple frustration: most skincare either ignored natural ingredients entirely, or used so little of them that the label was more marketing than substance. We set out to make the opposite — products where the plant, root, or butter in the name is genuinely the main ingredient, prepared the way herbalists and apothecaries have done it for generations, just packaged for how people actually shop today.
Every product is still made in small batches so we can keep an eye on quality as we grow, and every formula starts from "does this ingredient actually do something" rather than "does this sound good on a label."
